FORD by-pass software programming tips:
1. Always check the key count under Keys programmed before adding or erasing any keys.
2. For Pats 4 vehicles; choose by system, then select Pats 5 instead of Pats 4.
3. HEC system vehicles; you must clear keys & not choose Add key.
4. On PATS 3 CAN vehicles If you get an "invalid Outcode" message after selecting bypass, hit enter & try again.
Most of the time it will accept your key on the 2nd try.
5. 2011 Ford Programming issue when the factory alarm is set.
Known vehicles so far are: 2011 F-150, 2011 F-250, 2011 Edge Keyed ignition.
Programming issue: access denied at the end of the 10 minutes or a failure message.
Solution: Program in a separate remote using the 8X OBP
. Use Beta V 9.28 (or higher) then select 2011 Edge Keyed and ERASE keys. *NOTE-ADD key will not work. 2 (80 Bit) keys required.
